About Kicuvi

A London-based disinfection and sanitary treatment firm, operating since 2016.

How the company started

Kicuvi was set up in 2016 by a small group of technicians who had spent years working inside pest control and facilities maintenance firms across London. The idea was straightforward: property managers, landlords and shop owners needed a service that dealt specifically with sanitary treatment and disinfection, rather than a side item tacked onto a general cleaning contract. Ten years on, the company still operates from the same premises on Kensington Park Road, though the range of work has widened considerably since those first jobs.

Over that decade the team has completed 451 jobs for around 300 clients across 7 London districts. Fifty-seven of those clients have returned for a second treatment, usually after a change of tenancy, a seasonal pest issue, or a routine re-treatment agreed as part of a maintenance schedule. The company has stayed at 6 people throughout the last few years, a size that keeps scheduling manageable and lets the same technicians return to properties they already know.

Mission

To carry out disinfection and sanitary treatment work that is properly documented, scheduled without delay, and explained clearly to whoever is paying for it. Typical response time to a new enquiry is within 24 hours.

Approach to the work

Rather than offering a single fixed package, the company treats each property according to its use: a rented flat, a food storage room and a communal stairwell each call for different products, contact times and follow-up checks.

Core values

Plain reporting

Every job ends with a written note stating what product was used, where it was applied and when the area is safe to re-enter.

Fixed scheduling

Appointments are confirmed in advance and technicians turn up within the agreed window, rather than a loose half-day estimate.

Consistent teams

The same two or three technicians tend to handle repeat visits at a given address, so they already know the layout and any access restrictions.

How a job is organised

1
Enquiry and site details. The client describes the property, the issue and any access constraints; a reply usually follows within 24 hours.
2
Site visit or remote assessment. For larger premises a technician inspects the space before quoting; smaller flats are often quoted from photos and a phone call.
3
Treatment date agreed. A window is set and confirmed in writing, along with any preparation the occupant needs to do beforehand.
4
Treatment carried out. Products and methods are chosen for the specific space, and re-entry times are noted on site.
5
Written summary sent. The client receives a short report and, where relevant, a suggested date for a follow-up check.
